= OUR MISSION =
The 173rd was born as a tribute to those who have sacrificed for us. We honor this by promoting the freedoms we have today and integrating our values into our fellowship. The 4th Armored is dedicated in honor of Scott A. Broman (07.02.1948 ~ 02.17.2006) who dutifully served in Vietnam in the U.S. Army's 2nd Armored Division as a 105mm howitzer loader/gunner; wounded by shrapnel & recipient of the Purple Heart.

From games like Halo to Battlefield Vietnam to F.E.A.R. to Killing Floor, the 173rd has come a long way, but WoT has been dear to us since its start in closed beta and proud supporters since. After a break in the action, the 4th Armored "Hammerheads" have returned to World of Tanks!
